It was 5 years from the time we started trying to get pregnant, to when our first son was born. I always knew in my heart that God would give me the desire of my heart to be a Mom. We named our son Isaac because in the Bible it says that Isaac was “born as the result of a promise.“ He is truly our child of promise. As we awaited his arrival, we called him “Baby Promise.“ Isaac James was definitely worth the wait!
